A Huge Thanks From The Pinto Family

My family and I would like to sincerely thank Del Aire Community Development Center and their lovely sponsors for the generous gift to our family. Unfortunately, our entire family was hit by COVID 19 this past Christmas. My husband was in a coma for four months, and we lost his dad while he was very ill fighting for his life. We are so blessed to have my husband back home, almost fully recovered. He is still on oxygen after four months of rehabilitation and hundreds of follow-up appointments. With therapy and family care, he is now walking, driving, and pretty much doing 75% of what he did before he contracted the virus. We have struggled to pay medical bills, medications, and copayments since my husband’s state disability are the only income. We are so fortunate to find sponsors like you that make a difference in people’s lives. My kids will go back to school with their brand new computers, and I will not stress about a bill paid with your generous donation. Once again, we would like to express our gratitude for your kind gesture, and we will always be thankful to the Del Aire community for coming forward and making this donation happen.
